| ≪自己紹介/経歴≫ Hello! My name is Marverick and I’m from Manila, Philippines. My dad’s favorite movie is TOP GUN which starred Tom Cruise as LT Pete "Maverick" Mitchell. That’s where I got my name! I think it is pronounced as「マーべリック」in Japanese. My nickname is Chinoy 「チノィ」, so you can either call me Marverick or Chinoy. I started learning English in the 2nd grade, and I continue on improving my skills by speaking, chatting, reading and writing in English until now. I am currently a 4th year Tourism student of Far Eastern University. I know a lot of things about travel, event organization and management. I also know how to speak a little French. I want to teach English not only because I want to share my ability but it would also help me develop my self-esteem and communications skill. I want to meet people from different parts of the world because I believe that it would help me be familiar with their country, customs, culture and language as well. I love to read novels especially those that contains action and Mafia story. I also love watching movies, play video games and play basketball. I am also interested in social-networking like Friendster and Facebook because it keeps me updated about my friends and it also helps me meet a lot of people online.
